Summer Wedding Ideas

 Summer is in full swing now! As we see more and more wedding appear on Instagram, we've rounded up some ideas to consider for your summer wedding.

1. Destination wedding

Who wouldn't want to travel to a beautiful wedding destination that will also double as a vacation?? Lake Como, Italy and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico are some of the gorgeous destinations that we've been sharing on our Instagram stories.

2. Fans as a wedding favor

Your guests can use them to beat the heat and use them during the rest of the trip! You can also create custom ones on Etsy!

3. Have your reception outside

Have your guests sit outside (in enjoyable temperature) so everyone can enjoy the beautiful weather!

4. Coconut water for the guests

Keep everyone hydrated with coconut water on deck! You can elevate the look of all the coconuts on the table by adding some fun signage, order carvings in the coconuts (if your vendor/venue is able to do that - we've seen coconuts with the wedding date carved in!), or use different sized cake stands to create variety in heights.

5. Short or airy bridesmaids dresses

Nothing says summer like a short dress 😉 Have your bridesmaids wear short or long but airy wedding dresses to bring that summer feeling into your wedding.

6. Parisols for guests

Is the fan not enough? Consider getting parisols for your guests to be shaded from the heat! Find some cute ones, throw it into a cute basket, and leave it out where guests can see them!

7. Sign a surfboard
